What you pay for — and what stays free
One wallet, including AI image generator
Generate, expand, cutout, upscale, and GIF spend the same credits. One JPEG from the generator is 1 credit: 150 images in the pack, 300 each month on the plan. Guests get three free images a day; sign in for three more before credits.
Standard vs Pro
Standard is 1 credit and can use the daily trial. Pro is paid-only: cutout Pro is 2 credits, expand Pro and upscale Pro are 3.
Stripe checkout
Packs and monthly plans open Stripe. Cancel the subscription from Billing. Split, PDF, and filters stay in the browser. Adult images never take a credit.
Refunds
Billing and refunds
Local split, PDF, and filters are free, so no refund applies to them. Credit packs: unused packs can be refunded within 14 days if no paid credit from that pack was used. Consumed credits are not refunded as cash. Monthly plans cancel anytime from Billing; unused subscription time is not refunded in cash except where the law requires it. Which plan should I choose? +
Sign in for one Standard AI run each day on expand, cutout, or upscale. It does not stack. The AI image generator is 1 credit per JPEG after six free images (three as a guest, three more after sign-in): the $5.99 pack is 150 images, the $9.99 month is 300 images plus Ad-free. Split, PDF, and filters stay in the browser either way.
What is a credit? +
Credits sit in one wallet for generate, expand, cutout, upscale, and GIF. A Standard run and one AI image generator JPEG each cost 1 credit. Cutout Pro costs 2. Expand Pro and upscale Pro cost 3. Adult or prohibited images are blocked and do not use a credit.
How long do you keep my files? +
Free accounts keep each result 7 days in My works; pack buyers and monthly members keep them 30 days. After that the original and the result are deleted from our storage. Download what you want to keep.
Which plan removes ads? +
The monthly subscription. While it is active, every tool page on splitimage.im is marked Ad-free for the signed-in account. The 150-credit pack is credits only — it does not include Ad-free.
Do pack credits expire? +
The 150-credit pack lasts 12 months from purchase. Monthly credits are for that billing month only and do not roll over if unused. The daily signed-in Standard run does not stack.
Can I cancel the monthly plan? +
Yes. Open My account → Billing after you sign in. Cancel anytime. You keep the remaining credits until the billing month ends. Ad-free ends when the subscription ends.
Do split, PDF, or filters cost credits? +
No. Grid split, Image to Printable PDF, rotate, flip, sharpen, and the other filters stay in your browser. Credits are for generate, expand, cutout, upscale, and GIF on this site.
Is checkout safe? +
Yes. Packs and subscriptions go through Stripe Checkout. We do not store your card on this site. If a payment fails, try another card or send Feedback in the top bar.
Can I get a refund? +
Unused credit packs can be refunded within 14 days if no paid credit from that pack was used. Email contact@splitimage.im with your account email and invoice. Consumed credits are not refunded as cash. Free local tools never charge, so no refund applies to them. Full rules: splitimage.im/terms/#billing-refunds.
Can I use the result commercially? +
Yes, if you have the rights to the photo you uploaded. We do not claim extra rights to your still. Adult or prohibited images stay blocked.
What if my photo is blocked? +
We do not run adult or prohibited images. A blocked run does not take a credit. If the automatic check is wrong, use Feedback in the top bar.
Do I need an app? +
No. Sign in on the pricing page or on generate, expand, cutout, or upscale in the browser. Phone or computer. HEIC still needs a JPG or PNG first.
